Happy B.C Day Long Weekend!!

There is a ton of fun stuff to do with family and friends this weekend if you are not headed out of this beautiful province.  

Tonight the grand finale of the Celebration of Lights takes place at English Bay at 10 pm.  It's China's turn to light up the sky with their "Butterfly Lovers Legend" theme show.  Make sure you head down to either English Bay, Jerico Beach or Vanier Park early to get the best viewing.

It is Pride Week in Vancouver.  The Pride Parade in Vancouver takes place Sunday on Davie and Denman and around the streets of Downtown Vancouver and it's always a blast! 

A bunch of festivals are taking place this weekend too.  Check out the Sun Festival in Tsawwassen this weekend at South Delta Rec Centre with a parade, antique fair, marketplace, BMX air show and more.  

The Harmony Arts Festival happens in West Vancouver with 82 performances, a wine garden and more.  You can call 604 925 7268 for more information. 

If you are headed to Whistler, check out The Canadian National BBQ Championship.  Sounds yummy! It's happening all weekend at 7pm.

Lots to choose from this weekend, so there no excuse to stay home and watch television! The weather will be beautiful too.  On a side note, this weekend is the most dangerous on the roads so please DRIVE CAREFULLY wherever you are going.
