Coca-Cola today honoured Rick Hansen with its 'Live Positively Award' at Robson Square.

The Canadian paraplegic athlete, best known internationally for his 'Man in Motion' World Tour, wheeled more than 40,000 km through 34 countries, raising $26 million for spinal cord injury research and creating disability awareness.

Coca-Cola also awarded Kelly Murumets, President of ParticipACTION. Murumets was honoured for pushing forward the physical activity and sport participation movement in Canada.

Nikos Koumettis, President for Coca-Cola Canada, thanked Hansen and Murumets for driving Canadians to get active and 'Live Positively'.
